Paper Planes

I fly like paper, get high like planes
If you catch me at the border I got visas in my name
If you come around here, I make 'em all day
I get one down in a second if you wait M.I.A.

So I left from Regina to fly East at six in the morning. I almost missed my flight entirely because of Stupid Security Man but fortunately, I made it to Edmonton just in time for my next plane to Toronto (yes, back West again, across Saskatchewan. Makes a lot of sense).

In Toronto I ended up only having a couple of hours because of, ehm, lets call them technical difficulties. There was so many people in the airport that I knew! All these beautiful Japanese girls I'd met in Toronto were busy catching their flights back to Asia, and a lot of German students were going to Hamburg or, like me, to Frankfurt. As I was talking to my Czech friend Bára (we went to Mexico together in January) I suddenly heard this very loud, very distinct German accent shouting out my name behind me. I turned around, and there was André! We were both very tired, sad, but also excited about seeing each other and being, theoretically, halfway home to Europe. We picked up some Tim's and André almost missed his plane.

The plane was over booked and my boarding pas was giving me grief, so the Lovely Woman At The Gate With Awsome Nails upgraded me to Business Class, along with this German beauty featured below. I couldn't really eat any of the fantastic food and I didn't really sleep much, but I got a back massage for almost seven hours and I got to watch Bride Wars (the ending sucked), He's Just Not That Into You (what a crappy movie. I love SATC but the story line and over-all point here was just brutal), and a whole lot of 30 Rock and Extras (the one with Daniel Radcliffe almost made me cry, it's so brilliant).
